| Personal History | Born on Tauron in 1909 shortly before the Tauron Civil War, Jeksenri childhood is marred by the conflict, losing his parents and brother during intense fighting in the captial of Hypatia. He and his grandparents fled to Caprica, settling in "Little Tauron" and being raised in working class conditions. When Jeksenri was a teenager, the local Ha'la'tha syndicate attempted to recruit him. When Jeksenri refused, he was beaten. Forced to flee from the neighborhood, he ran until he came upon a recruiting office of the Caprican Military in which Jeksenri quickly enlisted at 17 in 1926 opting for the Caprican Marine Corps. Jeksenri was shipped off to basic in Oasis, a hamlet on the coast near Delphi. He spent 13 weeks in basic where Officers noted a leadership potential in him that was groomed on a fast track to Squad Leader and graduating near the top of his recruit class. During a Boarding of a Pirate vessel near Helios Beta in 1934, then Sergeant Jeksenri proved himself in his leadership by rescuing several civilians and marines under fire from pirate forces, earning himself a place at the Caprican Officer Academy and War College where he graduated with honors in Defense Studies. He spends the next ten years on various Command postings aboard Caprican Warstars and battleships before the Cylons rebelled. The Capricans along with the rest of the colonies unite into one government "The United Colonies of Kobol". 4 Years of fighting on the frontline on various postings before being assigned as commander of the 1st Battalion "Black Dogs" for which he's been in command of for two years prior to assignment to Pacifica. |
